Senior Friendship Centers - Lee County

Provides services to senior citizens ages 60 and older to promote independence and prevent institutionalization. Services include adult day care, case management, emergency signaling system, homemaker service, personal care service, transportation, emergency respite/respite care, congregate dining at sites throughout Lee County and home delivered meals. Also administers the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, Medicaid Waiver for Assisted Living, Home Care for the Elderly, Alzheimer’s Services, and private fee services. Call the Elder Helpline for referrals. Friendship Volunteer Programs, a resource for senior's looking to give back to the community. Senior Friendship Centers also has CSFP(Commodity Supplemental Food Program) which provides eligible seniors a free nutritious monthly food box. Food items may include canned fruits and veggies, juices, cereal, rice, pasta, cheese, and canned meats. Must be 60 years or older, Have gross household income at or below elderly Poverty guidelines of 130%, and be a Collier or Lee county Resident. Bring of Proof of gross household income and Must provide a photo ID and proof of address
