WIC is a federally funded nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children which provides the following at no cost: healthy foods, nutrition education and counseling, breastfeeding support, and referrals for health care. Supplemental nutritional program for Women, Infants and Children; federally funded and provides individual nutritional assessments, counseling and checks for purchasing nutritious foods to pregnant, postpartum and breast-feeding Women, and also to infants and children under age 5 who are at 185% of the federal poverty level. Also assists breast-feeding Women with breast pumps and breast-feeding support.
