Description:

Federally funded nutrition program for Women, Infants & Children. Provides healthy foods, nutrition education & counseling, breastfeeding support, and referrals for health care. Provides checks for purchasing nutritious foods to pregnant, postpartum, and breast-feeding woman and also to infants and children under age 5 who are at 185% of the federal poverty level.

Hours:

Office- Monday - Friday, 8 am-5pm. Check Pick up Monday ,Tuesday, & Thursday, 8:30-4:30, Wednesday & Friday, 8:30-noon Eligibility-by appointment. WIC Office is closed the last day of each month.

Eligibility:

For Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding or have just had a baby and their children up to the age of 5 years old. There is a family income limit, but working families may qualify.
