Disability Rights Florida is a non-profit organization providing protection and advocacy services in the State of Florida. The Center's mission is to advance the dignity, equality, self-determination and expressed choices of individuals with disabilities. Disability Rights Florida, Florida's protection and advocacy system is a not-for-profit organization. Disability Rights Florida is authorized by federally-mandated programs to help protect the legal, human and civil rights of individuals with disabilities. In addition, the Advocacy Center is governed under Chapter 87-130, Laws of Florida and under the Florida Governor's Executive Order.
