Hurricane Shelter Training

Posted by: Jennifer S. Sexton On August 27, 2014 15:08

In an effort to better prepare our community for the hurricane season, the American Red Cross and Lee County Emergency Management are working to develop disaster volunteers to staff hurricane shelters. There are roles for every skill level or physical ability. As a shelter staff volunteer, you and your family will know what your plan will be in the case of a hurricane. You protect yourself, your family, and your community. Free Training Class: Shelter Fundamentals, 7051 Cypress Terrace, Fort Myers, Tuesday, September 16, 6pm-9pm. Register by calling 239-278-3401.
